Chris has specialized training and experience with helping people struggling with addictions, mood disorders, phase of life issues, grief, anger, trauma... and the combinations therein. He believes that some goals are to feel better, to have better relationships, to protect yourself with healthy boundaries, to find or keep sobriety... but really the most important goals are the ones that you select for when you work together in counselling.
His goal is to help people find and build their existing strengths; some might have been forgotten or not even fully realized yet.
Chris continues to study new research for his clients. He also strives to learn from clients experiences what likely helps, what does not, and to gain new perspectives.
Chris will work with you to see the very best in yourself without judgement or criticism, and instead offer respect for your courageous step in seeking change.
